A little further outside Cape Town, there are further options either for golfing day trips or stopover on the route east. Hermanus in particular makes a good easy first stop on the way to the Garden Route which might just be too far in one leap.Variety is not a problem – from the links courses on the Atlantic West Coast north of Cape Town to the very fashionable Arabella course in the Overberg close to the whalewatching centre, Hermanus.
