Game viewing in the game parks of the north and south is some of the best in Africa.Zanzibar is a fine destination in its own right – buildings remain from the ancient trading centre to contrast with the fine sandy beaches. The rich history is matched on the mainland with less visited ruins at Kilwa – another old slaving centre.

Seasons
Seasons are defined by rainfall. The 'Short Rains' occur mainly in November and December - characterised by 30-minute squalls. The 'Long Rains' come in April and May when storms can come on a daily basis - causing additional problems with roads.Temperatures are slightly higher during the rains but the only real issue is increased humidity on the coast. The dry season also lowers the dangers of the Malaria and other diseases carried by the Mosquito.
