Northern Cape
Off the beaten track, the Northern Cape offers its own very special world. The floral region that continues up the coast is complemented by some grand mountain scenery. To the north, the three parks offer a real desert experience.The flower season is a real spectacle albeit dependent on the right pre-conditions in Winter rainfall and subsequent sunshine. Even then, the timing and length of the season are quite unpredictable – but well worth it if you are lucky.
